The Weekly "HAPPY THURSDAY" Bicycle Ride, CBD/FQ

This weeks theme is "DUCT TAPE & FISHNETS"

We are meeting this Thursday, the 17th, at 12Bar at 7pm, then hang, eat, drink & be merry. Then around 7:30pm, we plan on taking the party to the streets of the CBD & FQ.

So grab a roll or two of duct tape {they make all kinds of colors} & start making your clothes. You can cover up say a pair of shorts or shirt or just make some out of the tape. Add in some fishnets & what you will get is one funky outfit! This theme should be easy enough for a lot of you to join in easy and cheaply!

This Week's theme is: "The Great Caped Cruisade"

So grab a CAPE or a towel, maybe paint "Happy Thursday" on it, and tie it around your neck, or around your shoulders. The way we plan to fly this Thursday, you are gonna need a cape!

We plan on meeting up at "Finn McCool's" on Banks St. @ 7pm, hang, eat, drink and be merry until 7:30pm, when we take it to the streets of Mid-City!

We Always;

This Weeks Theme is: Cinco De Cruiso!

Join us this Thursday @ Squeal BBQ for our monthly Uptown Cruise!

We'll be having the annual "Cinco De Cruiso".

This will be the last Uptown start at Squeal Bar-B-Q! We will be moving the Uptown ride to Dat Dog next month!

As always:

The Weekly "HAPPY THURSDAY" Bicycle Ride, Westbank!

This week's theme is:

Pirate's of the
Northern Caribbean:
Return to the Bestbank!

We plan to meet up at the "Purple Fin" in front of the Aquarium of the Americas (Bike Directions:http://g.co/maps/e2z75) at 7:00pm and hang til 7:30pm, then we will take the 7:45pm ferry across the river.

So, grab the torches from last year, a sword, a robe, maybe a bird, an eye-patch or even a wooden leg. We'll commandeer a boat, force them to sail us across the pond and spread "Happy Thursday" to a foreign land, NO ONE WILL BE SPARED! it will be a Happy Thursday for all! Plenty of booty awaits all those that want some!

Meeting Spot: We'll meet up at the "Purple Fin" in front of the Aquarium of the Americas.

This weeks theme is "Wear Green!"

We are meeting at 12Bar by 7pm, then hanging out until 7:30pm-ish. We'll make our way around the CBD & Vieux Carre.

We can't wait for this weeks ride! It's been way too long over due. We love parking garages! We'll try to visit two of them this week! (heads up Big Ass Trailer as we passed up the last few times for you)

This weeks theme is "PINK & BLUE" since its spring and love is in the air!

We plan on meeting up at Finn McCool's at 7:00PM for some BooKoo BBQ and drinks! (Show up early for food!)

At 7:30, we will take it to the streets on one of the most fun rides we have, MID-CITY!

We Always;

The Cruzy's!

The Cruzy's

are our annual awards ceremony. We found a great way to recognize the passion we all share for getting together, riding bicycles, & having fun all over this great city! We will come together on April 5th at Squeal Bar-B-Q at 7pm. We plan on socializing, some dinner will be provided, and drinks will be available. We'll have a small ceremony where we'll distribute our awards, and then go for a short cruise! This is a great chance to meet cruisers from other parts of town if you only ride when "HAPPY THURSDAY" comes to your part of town. So come on out even if you don't plan on riding as we will be hanging out for a couple hours. If you have never been on a ride, you are invited as well. Come see what we are all about!

There will be a limited amount of free food & drinks. In order to offset the cost of Squeal catering our event, we are holding a raffle to support the Cruzy Awards! Raffle tickets are $2, and you can buy as many as you want! Some of the items feature NOLA Social Ride T-shirts, Coffee Mugs, Stickers, and Totes. Please buy raffle tickets by donating using this link, or you can wait until the day of the Cruzy's and buy them there. We have 21 prizes in total, so make sure to get multiple tickets for your chance at multiple prizes!

We've decided on 15 categories for our awards, and have several nominations. This week's theme: Superheros and Villains!

It's been awhile since we cruised around these parts and it will be a first when we start at Tracey's. This place is the new/old Parasol's and it won't let you down with the food & drinks.

At the NOLA Social Ride we love any chance to wear a cape! Some love spandex, some love to be bad, others save the city as heroes but it doesn't matter where you fit, you fit in, so come dressed as your favorite superhero or villain!

Please bring:
-A friend or two
-Something to share (snack, drink or tall tale!)
-Always ride with tools: a pump, wrench or a patch kit

This weeks theme is: CARTOON CHARACTERS!

It's been a good minute since we've been to the Marigny/Bywater, so lets bring some extra "Happy Thursday cheer!" This week's theme is 'CARTOON CHARACTERS'. So come dressed as your favorite cartoon character and lets act like the big kids that we are!

Happy Thursday, CBD 12Bar

We've changed our starting location for the CBD to the 12 Bar permanently. Don't worry, it's next to Ernst Cafe. We'll start gathering at 7pm for drinks & eats, then just after 7:30pm, we'll take it to the streets. Plan on wearing lots of green, bring your luck as we search for the lucky pot of gold!
