This weeks theme is "FUNKY GOOD TIME"

So dress up in your funkiest, fun outfits. Channel your inner 70's child!
We plan on ending this weeks ride at The Maple Leaf, for members of the two funkiest bands ever, The METERS & JAMES BROWN!

We'll meet up at Squeal BBQ on 8400 Oak Street at 7pm; hang til 7:30pm-ish, then take it to the streets of Uptown! Remember you get $1 off drinks and 10% off food at SQUEAL BBQ!  Come by early, and join us at the tables outside that we have reserved and just hang out until it's time to ride.

Please remember;
- get into costume; be funky
- to tighten your nuts
- lube your chain
- put air in your tires

Please bring;
- something to share
- a pump, an extra tube, and/or a patch kit
- tools, like a wrench
- lights on your bike

- Leave no one behind
- Respect all drivers, no matter what they drive

This weeks theme is "ROLLING WHITEOUT"

So grab all your whites, hats, gloves, shirts, pants, capes. you can even get a can of the "fake Snow" & spray your bicycle. you can put white paper in your rims & on your bike, you can cover yourself in flour or grab a white bed sheet & be a ghost.

So we'll meet up @ 7pm, and hang until 7:30pm. then we will take the next ferry (around 7:45PM)
This time we'll take it into Old Algiers, so this will be a new route!!!!!

There are NO amenities pre-ride (other then bathrooms in Harrahs), and since this is a "new route" that we have never traveled before, there might not be a place to refill - so come prepared!!!!!!!

-Yourself & a friend
-Something to share
-A spare tube!

As Always;
-Put air in your tires
-Bring an extra tube, pump and/or patches
-Tire tool and wrench
-We leave no trace
-We respect all drivers (no matter what they are driving)

Since Winter finally showed up this past week or so, it's time for us to do a "Winter Wonderland" Ride!  Dress like Frosty the Snowman, or just wear something white, glittery or fuzzy!!   

We will be meeting at Ernst Cafe's Back Porch at 7:00PM (next to 12 Bar: http://g.co/maps/wjj9m ), and the ride will start around 7:30PM!

Dress warm! It won't be as chilly as last week, but stay prepared!

Come Prepared!
- Inspect your bike before leaving
- Air in your tires
- Oil your chain
- Bring a tube, patch kit and pump!
- Fresh batteries in your lights
- Bring tools, wrench, patch kit, pump tube
(We have an average of 1-2 flats per ride, so be prepared!)

Also:
- We encourage costumes of any kind! (It's not required, though)
- Bring stuff to drink, snack and share!
- Bring your friends out for a ride!

- Stay aware of all traffic laws

Carnival has begun! Kick off of the carnival season, dig up your mardi gras costumes and grab some king cake at the start spot this week!

We will be meeting at 7:00PM at Finn McCool's (show up early if you want BooKoo BBQ before the ride!) (Map Link: http://bit.ly/qjFYoq). We will take the ride to the streets at 7:30PM! Come join us for another Happy Thursday!

This weeks theme is "The Hangover Ride" as we start the New Year off right!

So come join us for the first cruise of what some consider the last year of the world!
Don't worry about how your hair and make up look, don't get the wrinkles out of your clothes, heck don't even worry about them being clean. Your hungover, so its all good!

We'll meet up at Squeal BBQ. You should make time to get something to eat and drink as they give us 10% off food & $1 off drinks. We'll hang for 30 or so minutes, then take it to the streets of Uptown!
