This Weeks' Theme is "Crazy Pants!"
We will be meeting on the back porch of Manning's Restaurant at 7:00PM to eat, drink, and meet 'n greet. At 7:45 or so, we will mount up and hit the streets of the CBD/FQ and spread the Happy Thursday cheer! Google directions are found by following this link: http://goo.gl/maps/WP3Ec.
Don't forget, mention that you are with the social ride at Manning's and get 2-for-1 drinks and half price appetizers!
So bring your wildest pair of pants (or full outfit), and come join us for some pedal-powered fun! If you don't have any crazy pants don't feel bad - costumes are optional (although having fun is not!)
Also - please come prepared, as we avoid stopping at any stores or bars until the end of the ride! If you are a new rider, please check out our riding tips before coming out!

On January 17, we had 29 riders; 28 to start & 1 joined. We weren't scared off by the false weather reports of low 30's for temps! We ate some great 1/2 price food & enjoyed the 2-for-1 drinks! Thank you Mannings! We started off with a double traffic circle, then a quick lap around Lafayette Square, and then into the heart of the CBD. We kept passing a "real biker gang", but they were walking around. Then we went up what was the hardest parking garage to date, but worth it! From there we traveled down the neutral ground of Canal St, where we were shown what proper cruiser speed is; we got passed by a jogger! We made it to the Riverwalk, where we had a bonus stop due to some young kids training to be a real brass band. Something you would only see in NOLA! After getting our fill of music we entered the French Quarter, traveling down Dutch Alley and into the French Market. We biked through the FQ and ended at Jackson Square, where we said "Happy Thursday" until next week!
