The theme for this week is: Team America!
It’s the first week of the month, and we are back at our Uptown start spot: Dat Dog Nola (5031 Freret, http://bit.ly/JMWraz). As always, they will be treating us to the normal food and drink specials (10% off food and Happy Hour drink prices). Make sure to arrive early if you want to get food! The ride will begin around 7:45, and we will have a tracker running for those who are late or want to catch up mid-way.
Put on your Red, White, and Blue and/or the most ‘MURICA getup you can find. We are riding for national pride and most of all FREEDOM! All forms of satire based on the theme are welcome and encouraged. There will be a costume contest with another set of earrings as the grand prize! If you win but don’t want earrings we can substitute a set of safety lights instead. Bring It!
This week we know that many folks are going to have a day off on the 4th of July, so we have a special after-party bonfire planned at a top-secret Uptown location!
