Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!
Tonight we will ride at 6:20 prompt and first stop Ellis Marsalis Music Center for a tribute to Al “Carnival Time” Johnson & Smokey Johnson.
We should depart from there around 7:40 and our second stop will be Banks St Bar for a celebration of street music. We will roll from Banks St close to 9pm and next stop is Mimi’s in the Marigny (we have stopped here once when there was no music but this is the first music stop here). We will depart Mimi’s around 10 and make a quick ride to Frenchman St and finish up just after 10. It is not everyday that you get to honor 2 living legends in there neighborhood but you can tonight. There is a forecast of some rain but keep in mind the weather man has been way more wrong than right lately. See you at 6pm in Congo Square and remember next week is our 1st birthday and the ride turns 1 year old.
