In case you haven’t seen or heard the news, the folks at Bike Easy are holding a rally Tuesday 20th from 3-6PM to show how important bike facilities are on Decatur Street in the French Quarter. One of our own has written an article for NolaVie about the DPW’s recent decision to exclude

Dial 311, and tell operator you are calling for Mayor Landrieu. Tell them you want bicycle lanes on both sides on Decatur Street from
Dumaine to Canal. Tell them why, in a personal way (e.g. you’re a mother
or you get to work that way). Thank the operator for taking your call.
