This week’s theme is: Exploring the Wild West!
This week is our bonus ride, so we are venturing out into the wild western frontier of Old Metairie! We will meet up at BANK St Bar & Grill (4401 Banks), where the drinks will be flowing inside and food will be readily available at the adjacent Mid City Pizza and Crescent Pie & Sausage Company. We will roll out just before 8PM, and a a live tracker will be posted for anyone who is running late.
We will hold a costume contest just before we leave Banks St. Bar, and the winner will receive a set of bike chain earrings made by our Northshore neighbors that run the Bon Jeudi bike ride!
Jay Mersch will be your fearless ride leader on this journey, and he will be taking us into routes and stops that will push into frontier areas heretofore unknown on the Happy Thursday rides!
Afterparty will be at Mid-City Yacht Club, which is just down the street from Banks St. Bar for anyone looking for a good spot to park.
